Collection moves

As part of the Library’s organizational changes, there will be a number of collection moves at various branches. The moves reflect a more consolidated approach to collections, grouping information and materials in an integrated manner to reflect the multidisciplinary nature of our students, researchers, and faculty.

As these collection moves take place, the Library will keep library users informed in the following ways:

  • Website updates, digital signage notifications at branches, and through social media channels;
  • Liaison librarians will share information about collection moves with faculty instructors so that students know where they can find their materials either temporarily or if a permanent location has been established;
  • Working directly with Student Communication Services to provide updates to students through information channels such as the FYI e-newsletter.
