Over the past several weeks, the Collections Move team transferred 4,387 Science & Engineering items in call numbers Q – QC760 and S – SH from the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre (IKBLC) to Woodward Library stacks.
The transfer of additional Science & Engineering books to Woodward will continue, and take approximately three weeks of daily moves.
Meanwhile, in IKBLC, book-moving on Floor 4 will begin next week to begin making space for the Music collections on Floor 3. All of the material on Floor 4 and nearly half the material on Floor 3 will have to be moved in order to rearrange the stacks for the arrival of the Music collections, and the work is expected to last until mid- to late June.
The Library catalogue will display the updated locations as the moves continue.
