Display Stations available at select UBC Library locations
Public-access laptop dual display docking stations have been installed at several UBC Library locations. Library users have access to stations at:
- Koerner Library on Levels 2 and 4
- Irving K. Barber Learning Centre (IKBLC) on Level 2
- Music, Art and Architecture Library
- Woodward Library
- David Lam Management Research Library
Each station comes equipped with a universal dock that connects to a secondary monitor, keyboard and mouse. Library users can connect their own laptops to the station via USB-C or USB A/B adapter.
Display stations at all locations are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and are open to all library users, however, users who need access to the library’s electronic resources will be required to login on their laptop with a UBC Campus-Wide Login (CWL) or OpenAthens account.
For troubleshooting and support, check in at the Chapman Learning Commons desk, or the branch circulation desk.
UBC Library is excited to offer this new, flexible workspace configuration and invites library users to share their feedback about this project.
