Library Electronic Resources: Problems, Questions and Comments

The Library welcomes feedback and the reporting of problems concerning our e-resource collections. Please fill in the form below in order for us to help you better.

Please check the eResources Blog for known issues. If there is an urgency to the problem, you can also reach Collection Service’s e-Resources & Access unit by phone at 604-822-4192, from 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.

If you have a question about a specific e-resource, please provide as much detail as possible: title or full citation, any error messages, and a step-by-step description of what happened. Screenshots are helpful and can be uploaded as files.

UBC Library is required by law to follow the terms and conditions set forth in the licenses we negotiate with Publishers and Vendors. Most licenses allow walk-in access on campus.

Licenses usually state that only current students, staff and faculty are permitted to have remote access to electronic resources from off campus. To use licensed resources from off campus, you must use EZproxy. See Connect to Library Resources for further information.

Where possible, UBC Library does negotiate access to Alum and you can find those resources listed here.
