The Irving K. Barber Learning Centre will undergo renovations to create a new gallery on Level 2, and environment upgrade to Rare Books and Special Collections. The work is expected to be completed in the summer of 2023.

UBC Library has reopened the Nass Reading Room following a much-anticipated space refresh. This quiet study space is located at the south end of Level 4 in the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre.
