Join Chuck Humphrey, Director of Portage, and Dugan O’Neil, Compute Canada Chief Science Officer, for a talk on emerging developments to support research data management at the national level in Canada.

March 1, 2016
1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Dodson Room (302), Irving K. Barber Learning Centre
RSVP

This is an opportunity to learn more about collaborative initiatives for research data management and what they mean to various stakeholder communities, including researchers, funding agencies, libraries, research service offices, ethics boards, IT units, and others. Humphrey will be attending the International Digital Curation Conference in Amsterdam at the end of February, which will provide further context for this work.

At UBC, active discussions relating to research data management initiatives have been taking place over the last months, with projects and plans currently in development. All are welcome to attend this session and to discuss current work, future directions and opportunities at UBC. Please register in advance.
