Units from across campus participated in the annual UBC Library/United Way Spelling Bee on November 16 in the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre. The Library was represented by Team Auto Correct and Show Me the Honey, with an honorable mention to Team Auto Correct for spelling 11 out of the 20 words correctly! See the Spelling Bee word list.

The UBC Library and United Way Spelling Bee was tied and won by both The English Exoterics (the Department of English, and four-time champions) and the Skullduggery (PhD English students). Congratulations to the winners!

The Spelling Bee was part of the UBC Community United Way Campaign, which has raised more than $350,000 this year to help individuals in the Lower Mainland.
