A Successful Exhibition

UBC Library executed a second partnership exhibition with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra this past weekend, from September 24th to 26th (the first partner exhibition featured UBC Library’s Harry Potter collection, and took place in July 2016). In tandem with the VSO’s The Rite of Spring performance, UBC Library created an exhibition of selected items from the H. Colin Slim Stravinsky Collection and Music collection. The four case exhibition included photographs, letters and memorabilia from Stravinsky’s extraordinary life. Special thanks to Krisztina Lazlo, Chelsea Shriver, Kevin Madill, Katherine Kalsbeek and the library communications team.

Library communications also created a Stravinsky ‘selfie’ frame for guests to pose with, certainly the first of its kind! The exhibition received considerable foot traffic and was a strong success.
