UBC Library’s Research Commons and the Mozilla Study Group are pleased to host the very first Data Science Day on April 4, 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. at Koerner Library.
Special guests Oliver Keyes (Carmen Sandiego Institute for Investigative Sociology) and Rich FitzJohn (Macquarie University) will be joined by other speakers exploring projects, ideas and tools on the topic of data science. Their combined perspectives range from that of academic research, open government and private industry. Join UBC in exploring how data science shapes our world and how you can leverage it in your own research.
