Thought the Library only let you borrow books and journals? Think again – in collaboration with UBC Engineering Physics, UBC Library has started lending open source Arduino computer kits.
Essentially, these are small, programmable machines that budding inventors can use to build gadgets such as tweeting coffee pots, personal weather stations and other imagination-inspired devices.

Six Arduino boards are available at Woodward Library for three-day loans. The aim is to have users across the spectrum check out the machines, explore the possibilities – and ultimately, build cool things.
Come by Woodward and see what you can do with Arduino!
