Koerner renovation update

By Jessica Woolman on January 24, 2013

Koerner Library is undergoing renovation and maintenance during the spring. There will be intermittent noises associated with these projects; as such, ear plugs are available at the level 3 multi-service desk.

Koerner 6th floor renovation
Renovation is currently underway. Signage is posted on levels 4 and 5 advising users that there may be intermittent construction noise.

Koerner glass replacement project
Columbia Glazing is onsite replacing cracked panes of glass on the east side of the building on levels 4 through 6. The work is scheduled to take place between January 27 and February 10 (weather permitting). A small portion of seating will be affected, however, areas will be taped off and signage posted within the building. Access along the pathway parallel to Koerner Library will be restricted at times, however access to the front entrance will not be restricted.

Koerner 1st floor renovation
A renovation begins in the northeast corner Koerner 1 on January 28. There will be intermittent noise associated with the project.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to improve our spaces.
