Collections moves update – January 24, 2013

By Jessica Woolman on January 24, 2013

Science and Engineering collection moves are on-going since staff and current journals moved to Woodward Library in December. Staff are now working on updating online records for the SciEng current journals.

Math, Statistics & Computer Science current journals (QA call numbers) have remained at the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre. The online catalogue is up-to-date and will now direct patrons to “I.K. Barber Learning Centre current journals (floor 4).”

The Art, Architecture and Planning (AArP) Reference collection has been moved to IKBLC Floor 4 next to the reference desk. The online catalogue display for all reference material in IKBLC will read “I.K. Barber Learning Centre reference (floor 4)” to reflect this move. The Collections Move team has continued book-moving work on Floor 3 of IKBLC.

In the Asian Library, Collections Move staff and students continue book moving in the Chinese, Japanese and Korean journals and book stacks on the lower level.

For further information on collections moves, please contact Doug Brigham, Project Chair for the Collections Move Management Team (CMMT).
