I’m very disappointed with the closing of UBC Robson library. I used to drop off books as I do a lot of my school work downtown. SFU has recently expanded it’s library; meanwhile UBC seems to be going backwards.

Thank you for your comment. We appreciate your feedback. This was not an easy decision for UBC Library to take. However, it was a necessary one, given resource pressures and the new service imperatives that all libraries today are facing.

Please note that online access to UBC Library collections, and book and article deliveries, ARE continuing. This includes being able to return books to the Point Grey campus libraries – simply drop them in the book return beside the Robson Square front entrance, and they will be delivered to the Point Grey campus within three to four working days.

We will keep working to offer the best resources and services for our users wherever they may be, and we look forward to keeping our users updated on developments during this time.
