Join Drs. Sue Mills and Sharon Koehn for the latest UBC Health Information Lecture Series event, Saturday November 19, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
The lecture, entitled “Self-Managing your Chronic Conditions: The facts, the challenges and future directions,” will address chronic disease self-management supports, health programs and everyday intervention techniques.
Co-sponsored with Surrey Libraries, the event will take place at the new Surrey City Centre Library, 10350 University Drive, Surrey. Admission is free.
Presented by the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre, UBC Library and Surrey Libraries, the Health Information Series is an ongoing public lecture series offered for the Lower Mainland community. The series creates a dialogue around the health care needs of British Columbians, and offers knowledge and expertise from UBC’s diverse medical and health sciences programs.
