Joy Kirchner, UBC Library’s Scholarly Communications Co-ordinator, has been appointed as a Visiting Program Officer to the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL). UBC librarian published in open access Partnership journal (December 21)
Eugene Barsky, a Science and Engineering Librarian at UBC Library, has published an article in Partnership: the Canadian Journal of Library and Information Practice and Research. Partnership is an open access journal. UBCO’s Gwen Zilm awarded CLA’s highest honour
Gwen Zilm, Associate Vice President, Learning Services at UBC Okanagan, has been awarded with the Miles Blackwell Outstanding Academic Librarian Award. This is the highest honour presented by the Canadian Library Association. The award was recently presented to Zilm at a national library conference in Montreal.
